What If..?? Quicksilver had the Power Cosmic.

Remembered that old Marvel vs DC contest between the Flash & Quicksilver. Of course Quicksilver never had the chance to win against the Flash considering The Flash is "The Fastest Man Alive" & also coz he has the Speed Force as a power source while Quickie's is merely a physical mutation.


Now i got to wonder of course what would happen if Quicksilver had something like The Flash, that is a power source to boost his Speed. So here's an edit for a What If..? idea of mine.

CBNAH Coat-of-Arms

An idea of mine to make/edit a Coat of Arms style profile pic for my friend's FB Group - CBNAH (Comic Book Nerds Are Hot).

Took a while doing this on & off, trying to see how much to add/use, i finally just got tired of decisions & finalized it as it was at the time. Turned out Good & i was satisfied.

A combo edit of some of Marvel's 'cosmic'/space characters/teams. Its not entirely finished, but i decided to stop with this & focus on another one i'm doing. Turned out nice & i'm happy with it.

I figure Thanos will be manipulating these guys into doing some of his work for him.

The IMPOSSIBLES...!!!

Had an idea of putting together some of Marvel's characters into a team. Now What would be a good name for a team consisting of "Wacky, semi-insane, near-unkillable" characters....?? (i.e Deadpool, Madcap, Mr. Immortal, Slapstick & "Impy" The Impossible Man)

After many a thoughts, i had a name for them, its not that brilliant & creative but i think appropriate....

The Amazing Spider-man #617 & #625

These two issues are part of " The Gauntlet" storyarc/saga currently being told in this Spidey-title. These two issues involve The Rhino (Aleksei Sytsevich). IMO this particular story within the saga is by far one of the BEST. 

There is great emotion within this story that makes it so worth reading. The Rhino is written here with more depth than ever was, more than just a super-villain thug like he was usually potrayed. His love & devotion towards Oksana (his wife, yes he fell in love & married not too long ago in MU time), the sadness & rage, all of it hits me deep when i read it. 

This is def one of the best stories in the 'rebooted' spidey titles, i highly recommend &thank you Joe Kelly (the writer) for a great & well done story & also to Max Fiumara for the art, it fits well with this story, Kudos..!! 

What would Chris Evans-Cap look like..??

So i did a few simple edits on what Chris Evans would look like as Captain America using the two images below :

A less beefy (but still buff) look. This is what i think is possible & reminds me of the 90's Cap build.

A new edit i did recently (one of my favorite edits now), a "What If..?" scenario of the old rivalry/feud between the Juggernaut & the Hulk. The Juggernaut finally defeats the Hulk..!!

"Captain America" chosen..!!

Captain America has been chosen & his name is Chris Evans..!! 

Yes, Chris Evans from Cellular, Fantastic Four, Sunshine & Push movies fame. As of Monday 22.03.2010, it has been confirmed that Chris Evans has accepted the offer to play the role of Captain America/Steve Rogers in the "The First Avenger : Captain America " movie which is scheduled to be released in July 2011.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Evans has accepted an offer from Marvel Studios to star as Steve Rogers in "Captain America" and nine other Marvel features, including potential sequels, "The Avengers" and other unannounced projects. Evans' casting rounds out Marvel's so-called holy trinity of heroes, with Robert Downey Jr. long filling the metallic armor of Tony Stark in Jon Favreau's "Iron Man" films and Chris Hemsworth currently shooting the title role in Kenneth Branagh's "Thor."

Not too overly excited by this, but i say he's a good choice, better than some of the other candidates IMO. He can look the part, but the true test is portraying the character right (which he did as Johnny Storm/Human Torch in the FF movies IMO). Hopefully he does better than expected & does Cap right. We shall see....

The Taskmaster picture took the longest, i had to 'clean' it up & rebuild some of the costume as well as change the colours of some of the costume, but i really loved how it turned out..!!!
